The leading UK bookmakers, Coral, were looking to increase excitement and utilise the mass appeal of Grand National Day 2016 to drive an increase in customers placing bets through their physical and digital betting shops. Through The I were brought in by Z-PR to develop a creative and engaging solution.
Through The I developed a live social content campaign that tapped into the on-the-ground energy and excitement of race day, featuring two social content production crews broadcasting from multiple locations across Liverpool and outside Aintree. We produced live Periscope interviews with racing fans and Grand National attendees, on-demand videos and photos, to get #iloveGN trending.
Achieved 250K impressions & 15K engagement interactions across multi-channel output during the 8 hour “broadcast”.
