Our short film about refugees

The charity, Rosetta Foundation, approached us with a unique challenge, and at Through the I, there’s nothing we like more.

Considering recent events in and around Europe, their work providing free translation services to those in dire need is as important as it has ever been. However, communicating that message would require something that went beyond language, and spoke without (almost) any words at all…

Working as a team, we aimed to craft a human story that led viewers on an emotional journey of hardship and isolation, confusion, and then finally succour and relief.

The result, as you can see above, is a cinematic short film, shot in stunning 4K and developed from start to finish inside a month.
